The Onan 4000 Generator meets EPA standards and specifications required for all generator sets on trailers and other non-motorized mobile applications. The EPA requires an EVAP Generator Set, approved tank, EVAP canister, hoses, and fittings. 

Perfect for fifth wheel trailers, camper trailers, truck campers, and motorhomes. The Onan Generator 4000 runs a 13500 BTU air conditioner with a 2000-watt baseload and power to spare. Replaces previous versions of the Onan Microquiet 4000.

Cummins Onan RV QG 4000

The Onan 4.0 RV Generator meets EPA requirements for motorhomes, truck campers, and trailered RV applications including fifth wheels and travel trailers. The genset incorporates a digital voltage regulator, frequency regulation, and a single pole 30-Amp Circuit Breaker. Includes 120-inch-long generator output leads for connection to the main breaker panel and a sealed remote start connector. Lightweight at just 178 pounds and a compact 30 inches x 19.7 inches x 14.4-inches high.

Enjoy our national parks without worry. The Cummins Onan 4000 Generator meets National Park Service sound level requirements of 60 dB(A) @ 50 ft. Expect no more than 68dB at 10 feet away-typical installations usually lower the sound level below listed specifications. Vibration isolation makes the Onan 4000 operation exceptionally smooth and quiet within the full housing. The spark-arresting muffler, enclosed within the integrated housing and steel base, is USDA Forest Service approved.

Microprocessor control with diagnostics and troubleshooting features protection for overcrank and field overload, over/under frequency and loss of AC signal, mechanical faults, and starter faults. The Onan Generator 4000 provides efficient operation and never requires decarbonizing. The genset includes a replaceable air cleaner and automatic choke, fuel filter, and electric fuel pump with positive fuel safety shutoff. Remote rocker-switch starting from the remote panel with 12-volt 3-wire negative ground.

Backed by a Cummins-Onan 3-year limited warranty which includes a free 90-day minor adjustment policy. The warranty covers all parts and labor (excluding routine maintenance) for the first two years, then major parts and labor on the drive train and generator parts during the third year. The Onan RV QG 4000 is also suitable for medium duty commercial applications with a 1-year, 1000-hour commercial warranty.
