Generac 70422 Guardian 22kW Standby Generator with Wi-Fi

The Generac 70422 22/19.5kW Air-Cooled Standby Generator is an option from Generac’s Guardian™ Series home standby generators line. The 70422 is offered at an MSRP that is the lowest per kilowatt of any backup residential model. It is an excellent option for your home backup system.

A Generac G-Force Engine runs the Generac 70422. is Considered to be Generac’s best engine, it is pressure-lubricated, durable, stable, and capable of running for many years. It does not need maintenance as much as other brands. The generator can provide a maximum of 22000 LP watts and 19500 NG watts. It does not include an Automatic Transfer Switch when purchased.

For people who are concerned about noise, The 70422 operates at a reasonable 67 Decibels and the True Power™ Technology in this model reduces any harmonic distortion to less than 5%, so you get smoother power. A Quiet-TestTM Self-Test Mode lets the generator test itself at a slower RPM for five or twelve minutes. This helps make the generator more fuel-efficient.

Technology makes this model user-friendly, too. The Generac 70422 features the Generac Evolution™ Controller; an LCD display that exhibits the status of the battery and more in multiple languages. The Mobile Link™ Remote Monitor lets you link to your generator from anywhere with a mobile device. You can check on things and request service with this optional feature (sold separately).
