The Generac 200 Amp PWRcell Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) rated for 200-Amp service in homes or commercial applications with PWRcell Battery Storage Systems. Generac's Whole House automatic switch powers the entire home including air conditioners and other heavy loads.

This PWRcell ATS is an open transition transfer switch rated for service entrance installation. Compatible with Generac PWRcell 7.6kW Inverters and PWRcell Battery Storage Systems.

PWRcell Transfer Switch Features

The Service Rated ATS has a powder-coat painted aluminum NEMA Type 3R enclosure for indoor or outdoor installation. An ETL listed heavy-duty Generac contactor islands the home from utility power during an outage to provide backup power from the PWRcell batteries and inverter.

The Generac PWRcell Inverter handles all ATS functions including load management, power outage sensing, and signaling the transfer switch.

The PWRcell CXSW200A3 Includes a Generac 5-year limited warranty.

Generac 200 Amp ATS Load Management

Generac integrated power management into the 200 Amp Automatic Transfer Switch with the ability to control up to four 24-VAC contactor loads like air conditioners without additional hardware. If the thermostat turns on an air conditioner that exceeds capacity, power management prevents the air conditioner from starting. It can also stagger heavy load startup.  

Adding external Smart Management Modules1 (SMM) allows the load management system to control up to eight additional heavy loads like electric water heaters, well pumps, and more. Loads that would overload the system or those deemed unnecessary can be locked out in backup power mode. Load management provides critical and essential loads with power while enabling less important loads to run when power is available. Generac PWRcell Load Management with HVAC and SMM control make it the most installation efficient power management option available.
